2019-20 Accountability Implications Based on April 2020 USDOE Waivers and Changes to Commissioner’s Regulations §100.21 to Address the COVID-19 Crisis
This memo is to inform you that on Monday, April 6, 2020, the Board of Regents and the 鶹 (鶹 or “the Department”) made the decision to modify the accountability rules for schools and districts based on a one-year waiver 鶹 received from the United States Department of Education (USDE) from certain requirements under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
