Incorporating Civil Rights Considerations in Overall Operations
Civil Rights Non-Discrimination Policy and Complaint Procedures
In addition to including information in the student and staff handbooks, it is also helpful to incorporate civil rights content into orientation workshops so that staff and students can learn where the Title IX coordinator and 504 coordinator contact information can be found and the civil rights grievance policies and procedures can be explained.
Student and staff orientations include information about the content of the non-discrimination notices and where they publicly posted.
